Donna Gentile is an artist, designer, musician and educator at THE HIVE, a meditative art studio in the Hurley factory in New Hartford, CT.
Gentile has been a graphic designer since 1991, a web designer since 2005, a performing musician since 2006, and has been teaching Mandala Art Workshops since 2004 when she founded Community Mandala Project.
Donna started making conscious music and mandala art during a traumatic time and discovered profound healing. Today, she lives a vibrant life using her story of triumph, music and the mandala to help others on their journey to thriving!
Donna offers art enrichment and empowerment programs including Mandala Art Workshops for Healing, Recycled Art & Community Initiative (RACI) and EMPOW•HER. She teaches her workshops at THE HIVE and at incredible organizations like Farmington Valley Health District (Resilience Grows Here initiative for veterans), Cancer Care, Cut Out Cancer, Toivo by Advocacy Unlimited, Hartford Public Schools via Hartford Performs, Dept. of Mental Health & Addiction Services (DMHAS), Lewis Mills High School, senior centers, CT Women’s Consortium and more!
Gentile is also an artistic photographer, fine artist and loving mother. She has raised a daughter for 16 years as a single parent and is a social entrepreneur working to inspire, empower and transform people and communities.
