Today is the second painting session offered to the Terrasante community before the two remaining sessions will open to the broader Sacred Earth community. This was decided in order to give friends at Terrasante a chance to paint first, and as a matter of logistics. Approximately three people can paint at any given time depending on where shapes are located. It’s an interesting situation to navigate, and a cool experiment for community. One thing you can count on in the desert is the coyotes nightly ritual of dance and song. Thanks to Rocky for showing up and painting a beautiful coyote petal and for sharing stories. It’s moments like this that make the experience special and memorable. Tomorro, the forecast calls for two days of wind and rain so Cary and I will hang tarps to protect the mural.
