Joule of Durango makes statement pieces that embody the spirit of the southwest and celebrate your individuality, free spirit and deep connection to nature. Made in Durango, CO, they take inspiration from the colors, textures, architecture, sunsets and landscapes of places that artist Donna Gentile experienced while traveling America for four years in a van with her cat. While on the road, Donna did Workaway where she stayed with family farms, homesteads and off-grid communities learning and sharing the old ways — the traditional skills needed for self-reliance. Designs are characterized by earthy tones, vibrant patterns and natural materials such as sterling silver, copper, leather, turquoise, wood, glass, gemstones, shells, fabric, collage, paint, ink and more. A pioneer spirit with faith, love and whimsy flows through. Earrings come with silicon backs and all materials are sourced locally.
