March 12, 14, 19 & 21

The first painting session was awesome! Participants began planning their designs and putting paint on the well. So exciting! The first four planned painting sessions were reserved for the Terrasante community. With threats of wind and rain on the way, we hung tarps to protect the mural in between sessions. Thanks Cary! We didn’t finish the mural by the first day of Spring as planned, but the experience strengthened bonds and inspired folks to pick up paints again and create. In 2004, I launched Community Mandala Project and dreamed of painting huge mandalas with community. It took 19 years, but my long-time dream came true, people participated, connected and enjoyed it, and I am elated!
